Whimsicolor Illustration
Illustration has always been a passion of mine and I dream of someday writing and illustrating children's books. In March 2020 (yep, the middle of the pandemic), I finally opened an Etsy shop to sell prints of my artwork, as well as postcards, stickers, and even yearly calendars.
After running the shop for nearly three years, I've learned a lot about the technicalities of producing and selling artwork, from deliberating which printer profile setting to use on my Canon Pixma Pro 100, to printing a bajillion test sheets just to make sure the colors are right, to obsessing over the perfect materials to use for packaging and shipping orders–every nitty gritty detail. It's a lot, and there are sometimes days where I can't bring myself to even create art, but knowing that there are people all over the country who actually want to buy my work is a feeling that I can't describe.
