MochiThings

 

Brand Designer | June 2024 - Present​

MochiThings is a Seattle-based Korean stationery store that originally started out online in 2011 and opened its first brick-and-mortar location in the SoDo district in the fall of 2023. I initially joined the company as one of the first store associates, staffing the SoDo store and packing orders in the warehouse. In April 2024, CEO Yoon Kim noticed that I liked drawing and gave me a test project to design a new spring-themed MochiBox sticker. A few more test projects and two months later, I was promoted to Brand Designer.

 

Since then, I have helped facilitate the successful launch of two more store locations in the Pike Place Market area and Tukwila Southcenter shopping district through my contribution of designs and illustrations. I find a lot of joy in creating cute store visuals, social media and stationery products for MochiThings.
